I am passionate about architecture and committed to achieve the best urban design performance irrespective of the context and targeted inhabitants and, to design sustainable buildings that inspire communities and foster relationships among individuals through high standards of livability.
With 15+ years of experience working in complex and large scale developments, each project I design reflects a unique story through strong concepts and responds to its specific context, establishing connections among people, history and places.
After completing my first master in architecture and winning a large open space competition, I set up and led a small firm in Spain. Throughout eight years as principal, personally responsible for all phases of the design process from start to completion, I designed a wide range of buildings aiming for design excellence.
In 2013, I embarked on the journey to discover a new continent, culture and language, allowing me to submerge myself in an unknown territory. As an urban designer with the City of Vancouver, I firmly believe that Vancouver’s current urban instability and its peripheral considerations should be confronted holistically to preserve its hitherto high livability standards and its unique urban setting.
My demonstrated design skills and experience, as well as, my continuing research in relevant and advanced urban design ideas, have allowed me to achieve vast improvements in large-scale and unique developments for the city, through strong leadership, negotiation and proposing alternatives, with the steady goal of providing the best outcomes in the Vancouver’s urban environment.

Avenida de la Constitución is the main access to the city from the northwest and it leads to the beginning of the historical center and, at the same time, connects the two major centers such as La Caleta square (council, hospitals...) and Triunfo Square (Financial Center, Government of Andalusia,...).
The conversion made from the original layout of the early twenty century meant the destruction of the green areas of the original boulevard, to allow enough space for cars.
This proposal means a change of the current situation, where pedestrian space prevails, it would create a new green urban corridor that allows movement, both longitudinal and transverse, and where there are smaller, formal spaces for activities such as theater, swings for children, exhibitions, information of the city, etc.
