I finished Poznan University of Technology with graduation project entitled How to grow the city? which attempted to involve potential users in building structure creation. However my relationship with architecture began earlier on the north of Poland, where I was growing up. The local building structures, which are great example of sustainability, have inspired me to explore human surrounding. Further studies, courses, and competition projects convinced me of the importance of the architecture and urban planning for the society. It provoked me to study and search for new technologies and designing tools. In my architecture practise, I always try to use up-to-date solutions but also remember lessons which I have learned observing people and building since my youth.

HOW TO GROW THE CITY
How to grow a city illustrates a layered module (the crate) which can adapt to lifestyle and activity shifts via self-organisation to regenerate the Gdynia shipyard. It embraces its cultural and social context (proposed form, use and construction) through the implementation of unused objects on site (cranes, rail tracks) and a community workshop. The proposal focuses on three evolving variables over time: age, function and social preferences offering an appropriate blend of social catalysts for change.
2nd prize in competition PICNIC IN THE CITY, 2nd Place
How should the perfect city picnic look like to give everyone opportunity to organize it fast and easily? Which elements from everyday city life may be used? The proposed answer is the city journal, which is daily given out to citizens in every bigger town. If cover would be made of waterproof billboard paper, it may become perfect free picnic equipment. The person who have helped himself with journal has nearly everything to consume lunch.
1st prize in design competition for Sopot public toilet organized by City Council, 1st Place
The aim of the competition was to design a public toilet for coastal city Sopot. It was proposed to create object inspired by Baltic shell and kitesurfing kite, which will become an integral part of landscape.
The subject of my interest was every -existing or built in the future- useless, dirty, not-adapted city wall. As in nature every organism consist of huge amount of repetitious cells, which ensure reliability, I decided also to make up a universal modular system, which will allow to transform industrial building, grey skyscrapers, office blocks or even typical fences in green ecosystems.
1st prize at XI edition of student competition WATER IN THE CITY, 1st Place
Water was used to revive desolated shelter from II World War, which was previously radio station. Object became over 20 meters tall sculpture on which observer may watch usage of various water effects.
1st prize in competition for planning Wolności Square in Ustka, 1st Place
The aim of the competition was to create public square.
