About Me | I am from Miami, Florida and am currently in the M.Arch program at the Savannah College of Art and Design. After graduating from the University of Florida with a BA in Design, I had the opportunity of gaining two years of working experience at architecture firms in both New York City, and Sydney Australia. I have a passion for environmentally-conscious design and am proactive about minimizing our impact on the planet
Design Philosophy | I believe that imagination is a boundless sea of risk and opportunity, through which, the right current can guide us to the shores of solution. Architects, as the pioneers in this practice, are given the far-reaching task to remake and refurbish our world, to recognize our needs as they continue to evolve, and to find answers that can help ameliorate the problems of our society. I am aware that this act of making and remaking is incessant, and thus, the intellectual journey of an architect, too, sees no end. As such, I am motivated to progress forward on this perpetual cycle of practice and education, in hopes of finding my place as an architect of my generation, to transmit my imagination into forms and creations that are useful in the present, and respectful of past and future, place and user.

Full Tuition Scholarship | Dean's Fellowship recipients are determined by undergraduate grade point average of at least 3.3, a superior quality portfolio and statement of purpose. Qualified semi-finalists are invited to participate in an interview to determine final selection.
Simpson Strong Tie Structural Engineering/Architecture Scholarship, Scholarship
Scholarship recipients are selected on the basis of academic record, demonstrated leadership and participation in school and community activities, honors, work experience, a statement of educational and career goals, and an outside appraisal.
1990 Student Memorial Scholarship, Scholarship
Scholarship awarded to an undergraduate student with a 3.5 GPA or higher.
Witters Competition, 2nd Place
A 24-hour charette for mixed use, high density, sustainable housing project at a specific site in downtown Gainesville. The competition is interdisciplinary, with teams of five students selected from Architecture, Building Construction, Engineering, Historic Preservation, Interior Design, Landscape Architecture, Sustainability and the Built Environment and Urban & Regional Planning.
