About 

I am a recent graduate from Pratt's Interior Design Master of Science program, and I am excited to apply my education and begin work at a firm where I can learn and grow in the design world. I have a broad background, which includes fine art and law, as well as a range of design interests, and my design work reflects my wide reaching interests, drawing inspiration from literature, history, art and science.

-Part time since 2009 while getting my Masters degree in Interior Design
-Worked closely with a team of immigration attorneys on cases, gaining rigorous experience in project management, client services, research and analysis, strategy development and professional communications
-Having spent five years navigating a work space that often does not cater to basic work requirements and employee needs, I developed an in-depth understanding of how design innovations can be used to improve quality of life for employees, increasing efficiency and promoting a healthy and functional work environment

Pratt Institute, Brooklyn, NY, US, Masters, Interior Design

-Graduated from the top-ranking interior design program with a 3.9 GPA and the Excellence in Academic Achievement Award, which is presented to the three highest ranking students in a graduating class
Creative expertise in concept development, schematic design, hand drafting and rendering, universal and sustainable design techniques, furniture and lighting design, material and furniture selection, design layouts and presentations
-Mastered technical skills, including space planning, model building, construction and detail document creation, FF&E spec. sheets, furniture construction, and computer drafting and rendering (Autocad, 3d Max, Revit, Adobe Creative Suite, Sketchup)
-Selected design projects include: an innovative bicycle shop that teaches customers about bike mechanics while they design their own perfect bicycle; a flagship store for Yohji Yamamoto which, inspired by his iconic fashions, presents clothes as fine art and provides an art installation space at the heart of the store; and a communications design office that uses subtle color coding as a wayfinding method, inspired by colorfield painting, and provides employees with transformable work spaces; among other residential and institutional design investigations.
