Demetris Economides studied Architecture at the Technical University of Munich in 1993.
From 1993-1999 he was an Assistant Professor at the Technical University of Munich - Chair for CAAD in Architecture. He designed and set up the syllabi for the ‘CAAD Laboratory’ at the faculty of Architecture.
He is a practicing architect and the Associate Head of the Architecture Department of the Frederick University. He is teaching at the Architecture design program.
From 1994 till 2006 he was a Senior Director of the Architectural Department of “Rakete GmbH- Visual Communication for buildings and projects” in Munich, Germany. He directed and managed all architectural projects and architectural presentations.
Since 2007 he is the director of Economides Architects, Nicosia, Cyprus. He participated in architectural competitions with collaborations in the majority of which he was awarded with prizes.
