• Responsible for graphic design needs of Kiner Design Group including: production of company marketing brochures and project sheets; web site design and maintenance of KinerDesignGroup.com; logo and letterhead design and application consistency; creation of master pages and style sheets for all documents; creation and maintenance of KDG’s File Transfer Protocol (FTP) site; creation of email blasts using Constant Contact; email setup for all employees.
• Responsible for the production (colorization) of large and small scale graphics for Visioning, Architecture and Planning projects of Kiner Design Group using Creative Suite 4 (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, Fireworks).
• Responsible for all aspects of Graphic Design services for Kiner Design Group. Projects range from business/corporate identity/branding packages (logo, business card, letterhead and business forms design) to promotional pieces (brochures, magazine and newspaper ads). Designs marketing materials that enable businesses to present a clear message and professional image to their target markets.
• Additional responsibilities include interfacing with printers, consultants, clients to ensure that scheduling and production are to everyone’s expectations.

Phillips Brandt Reddick (PBR), Newport Beach, CA, US, Graphics Technician
• Designed and produced several multi-page (100+ pages) project marketing brochures, manuals and documents and made sure documents have an overall consistent placement of text and graphics (through the use of InDesign’s grids, tables, master pages, character and paragraph styles).
• Created and produced large and small scale map exhibits for residential, resort, hotel, industrial and commercial master plans, and produced optimized PowerPoint presentation graphics. Daily tasks included laying out for print media and PDF interactive forms, graphic file format selection, scanning, colorizing, color correcting and CMYK conversion, illustrating concepts, photo/artwork/print splicing, color proofing, optimizing graphics, typeface selection and usage, and printing on HP 5500 42˝-wide plotter.
• Produced press ready PDFs (for printers and service bureaus), high resolution PDFs (for in-house prints) and optimized low resolution PDFs (for email proofing).
Streamlined production workflow with the introduction of Adobe InDesign (in lieu of Adobe Illustrator) to layout graphics and text for all printed materials. Taught and trained co-workers on its basic usage, application and benefits.
• Other job responsibilities include project archiving and backup, digital graphic files cataloging, set up and maintenance of FTP site, and troubleshooting daily software and hardware problems.
