Typically extensive gut renovations and expansions with architectural, interior, and landscape design responsibilities, from initial client meetings through punch list closeout. - Private Residence - Deal, NJ - Over 10,000 sf of interior design responsibilities in addition to site planning and landscape design for 5-acre property. Total project budget: over $30 million, our responsibilities over $5 million (estimated). Interior design responsibilities included: accessory building interior design (spa building, cabana building, and pool house); space programming and planning, plans and elevations, lighting and electrical, details, tile, plumbing and hardware fixture selections, coordinating built-in cabinetry with local millworkers, reviewing/approving shop drawings, mocking up materials for client review. Site planning and landscape design responsibilities included: developing overall site layout, siting accessory buildings, coordinating changes with client and all trades, site lighting design, hardscape and softscape material selection, calculating, reviewing and approving paving order. Custom designed stonework, glasswork and metalwork including front entry and gate design, backyard gates and railings, trellis’, and planters.
- Brooklyn single family homes - Over 10 homes with full renovations and expansions, each with over 5,000 sf of interior space. Typical projects included all landscape design responsibilities. Construction budgets often exceeding $2 million with FF&E budgets often exceeding $500k.
- New Jersey single family homes - Over 15 homes with backyard renovations and expansions - including pool houses, cabanas, gazebos, custom outdoor bars and cooking areas, custom pools, hardscape and softscape design, site planning.
