About

I hope to build a foundation for my career using the skills I acquired while earning my master's degree from the School of Architecture, Urban Planning and Design at the University of Kansas. Through previous experiences, I acquired skills beyond my education which I believe to be beneficial in the professional world. I would like to join a team in which I may contribute these skills while continuing a growing knowledge of the profession. I am a team player that will take on any task, have a creative mind, and have a passion for learning.

I enjoy fishing, camping, and most other outdoor activities. I was introduced to these at an early age while working on earning my rank as Eagle Scout in the Boy Scouts of America. I enjoy a variety of sports including football, basketball, baseball, wrestling, track & field, and others. I am interested in art and like to draw, paint, and so on. I am also interested in wood working and other types of creative building. Music is another one of my interests.

Employment

Studio 804, Inc, Lawrence, KS, US, Graduate Student

Studio 804 is a non-profit, design/build organization comprised of graduate students working toward their master's degree in architecture. The firm-driven program is led by Executive Director, Dan Rockhill of Rockhill & Associates. We recently completed a 3,300 sq.ft. educational building on the Johnson County Community College campus using sustainable design techniques and technologies. The building, named Galileo's Pavilion is projected to receive LEED Platinum status. As a group, we were in charge of designing the building, as well as constructing it. We completed the fast-pace project in just under one year from securing the project to the completion of construction.
