Hi, I am Shreya Nath, an architect and graduate of the Architectural Association School of Architecture, London. I have recently completed an MSc course in Sustainable Environmental Design at the Architectural Association,London which helped to initiate my learning on the integration of architectural and environmental design, which I consider fundamental in the current climatic and contextual scenario. The course has provided me an in depth understanding of climate responsive architecture and provided me with skills such as thermal modelling, lighting analysis, calculation and estimation of comfort conditions.
After graduating from the Architectural Association, I joined L &S Architects, a small yet dynamic architectural practice based in Bangalore which focuses on environmental design. Here i was appointed as a project architect and environmental consultant and was in charge of the architectural and environmental design and site management of a passively cooled administration block which serves a 26 acre industrial campus.
Since then I have independently undertaken a residential project and have been in charge of the architectural and interior design, production of construction drawings and overseeing the overall construction of the same. My main area of interest lies in sustainable residential design.

Responsible for the architectural and environmental design of a
passively cooled administration block for a 26 Acre industrial campus for
Precot Meridian Ltd ; collaborated on developing the environmental
strategy, architectural layout and selection of materials.
Conducted environmental simulations; estimation of indoor temperatures.
Preparation of schematic, working and GFC drawings as well as
overseeing construction by coordinating with structural and on site teams.

Assisted in planning a proposal for the development of the industrial zone
in Auroville, and creating drawings and a presentation for the same.
Worked on the design and construction drawings for two residences.
Collaborated on the development of the design for phase 2 and 3 for the
Last School in Auroville; created models and schematic drawings
Assisted in the design development (using series of models and drawings)
and conducted research on kinaesthetics for Svaram’s music showroom.

Assisted with making presentation boards and 3D model for the A+ D &
Spectrum Foundation Architect of the year award 2007 (winner).
Prepared working drawings and 3D models for the administration office of a
factory. Designed elements such as the façade and entrance.
Designed and prepared detailed drawings of windows, doors, gates, railings
and flooring layouts. Created 3D models on Autocad for a security cabin,
two apartment buildings and an office building.
