Ricardo Morcillo (Albacete, 1983).
Architect (University of Alicante).
Lighting Designer (Hoogeschool Van Amsterdam).
After collaborating on several architectural firms in Spain (YIC architects, ad hoc study Architecture and Planning) I decided moving to Amsterdam, to specialize in architectural lighting design.
Among other facilities as "Color Cloud" (multisensory perception installation) or "Pangea" (interactive roaming module), in 2010 I won the first international award iGuzzini lighting by installing "Red Pavillion" for Nuit de Feu (Domaine de Chevetogne , Belgium) in 2011 subsequently being awarded a second prize in the National competition final projects-iGuzzini Flights architecture, with the "Highlight: urban recontextualization through the light," published in Architecture-Pasajes in April 2012.
My lastest work is a design for a Restaurant called Garabato, in the main center of albacete.
