From September 2011 to June 2012 I was able to explore and learn the different facets of city/community planning in a local setting [S.P.U.R.A.- The development of the Lower East Side by Delancey] and then on an international level as a group of 10 designers focused on designing a new city for the northern region of Istanbul, our proposals covered land use, community development, transportation, economic infrastructure along with many other considerations required for developing a functional and vibrant city

My undergraduate thesis implemented a wide range of my skills in architectural research, planning, and design project types. the proposed thesis was for architectural design implications and solutions for a combined engineering and art school, which housed specialty spaces such as labs and lecture rooms that meet the needs and demands of a public university in New York City.
Another key undergraduate project involved a master plan for an uptown Manhattan neighborhood where we tackled the large task of developing housing and community services to serve the exponentially growing New York City population.
my academic experience also included design and development of public institutions, schools, universities, and community/master planning. I am able to excel and work efficiently within a team and individual settings since I am very self-motivated and passionate about design and all phases of project development.
