About

I have just completed a 1 year add on to gain a BA (Honours) in Interior Architecture from the Institute of Technology Sligo, Ireland. This relatively new qualification is accredited by the European Council of Interior Architects (ECIA) and is currently under candidacy status for part 1 from the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) I have worked on several small scale residential projects as well as a local pub in east Clare Ireland. I am interested in gaining international architectural experience to potentially further my studies in the future. I am self-motivated, hardworking and consistently strive for perfection.

Education

Institute of Technology Sligo (IT Sligo), Sligo, IE, Bachelors, Interior Architecture

The practice of interior architecture offers a multidisciplinary approach to the design of habitable spaces. It combines a variety of fields including architecture, furniture and product design. This is a relatively new discipline, and is an expanding area of study in Ireland and the UK. IT Sligo is the leading educational provider in this field in Ireland – offering the only built environment design course focusing on developing expertise in the re-use, refurbishment and repurposing of existing buildings. The course is unique, drawing on expertise in architecture, design and construction.
