I have been employed in the architectural field for over five years, and have experience working on projects ranging from small alterations to mid-sized commercial ground up construction. I have worked in multiple provinces of Canada as well as several states within the US, gaining invaluable experience adapting to local codes and construction. This has led to involvement in all phases of the construction process, from pre-design services to construction administration, with projects ranging from restaurant developments to modern, highly detailed community transit architecture. I am a licensed Architect in the state of New Jersey and have experience leading and training young designers at Environetics Group Architects, where I currently still work as a Job Captain / Project Architect.
My education is from the New Jersey Institute of Technology, where I excelled in the integration of design with new software and fabrication techniques. As an undergraduate, I was a member of Team New Jersey through which we successfully designed, fabricated, and installed the first ever fully precast entry to the Solar Decathlon, a Department of Energy sponsored international competition. To achieve our goals, I along with a great team of contractors built formwork, poured, and assembled the precast elements of our single-family house in Washington DC. Further notable exhibits of the work include The Center for Architecture in New York and The Interdisciplinary Sustainability Student Summit at Cornell University. I hope to further develop architectural ideas between new digital technologies, sustainable practices, and the human connection to the architectural forms.
