About

I am currently in the MArch program at Southern California Institute of Architecture (SCI-Arc) and will be graduating in September 2013. I earned my undergraduate degree in 2005 from Vanderbilt University School of Engineering. While I was at Vanderbilt I studied Engineering Science alongside Theater Design and Technology.

I have over 7 years of experience working as a project manager for a high-end residential design firm. In addition to my professional experience, I am also a member of the SCIArc/Caltech Solar Decathlon team and will be competing in the US Department of Energy Competition in October 2013. This is an international competition between 20 teams to design and build net-zero prototype homes.

In my personal time I enjoy golfing as well as spending time hiking with my two dogs.

Solar Decathlon Competition 2013 - SCI-Arc/Caltech Team : D.A.L.E. (Dynamic Augmented Living Environment) Project

The Solar Decathlon Competition is a biennial competition sponsored by the U.S. Department of Solar Energy where 20 schools from around the world compete in designing and building a net zero prototype home.
The SCI-Arc/Caltech team proposes D.A.L.E. (Dynamic Augmented Living Environment), a 600sf micro-home that literally moves on rails, expanding to create a mid-yard and multiplying the inhabitable space.
