Graphic design
• Development of concepts to resonate with the target audience of medical professionals
• Application of branding images across the continuum of print, Web, signage, and enduring materials
• Excellence in design and usage of typography and layout in presentations, illustrations and information graphics
Production
• Video production and editing as required (Final Cut Pro)
• Produce illustrations, charts and other graphics for print and e-media
• Prepare, document and dispatch files for production
Training and support
• “Go-to” person for all things Acrobat, conducting classes to assist business units in leveraging this technology
• Proactively manage integration of upgrades, especially Adobe Creative Suite packages, mentoring other staff as needed
Department management
• Manage multiple projects and timelines, creating database or other tracking systems when required
• Budget for department hardware and software upgrades, and installation of same (Mac OSX)
• Development and implementation of policies and procedures, including but not limited to development of filing and archiving protocols
• Lead role in planning and execution of design/graphic aspects of assigned projects
• Obtain quotes for materials and services, monitor and communicate vendor charges, and reconcile purchase orders with invoices
• Interact with vendors to coordinate final production and delivery of materials within US and abroad (mostly UK)
