About

In 16 years of practical experience as an architect, I have had the opportunity to practice the profession in different cities in Colombia and overseas, working for different design departments along with public and private sectors, with projects focused on innovation and environmental responsibility with the city.  This is how I have met several processes for implementation of projects with a high standard of quality and also, I have achieved the tools to make them real from more efficient planning to effective execution.

I coordinated multidisciplinary design teams to develop urban projects, with an efficient response to the emerging challenges and excellent results meeting the established goals.   These projects have been developed in economic and cultural different contexts, involving the local community in the process which helped me to grow a special sensibility perceiving, interpreting and thinking the territories together with the importance of a responsible and sustainable design.

In recent years I have worked as a professor and I have developed a deep interest in research and academic life. In the past I had a brief contact as a visiting guest professor at Harbin Institute of technology, experiencing the power of teaching to generate and share knowledge, in addition to the continuous reflection on the construction of habitable space with social responsibility and environmental commitment.
