About

As a 2010 Master in Architecture graduate of the Wentworth Institute of Technology I have what I feel is a unique understanding and application of scale within my approach to design and architecture. Not only do I have a strong vision and understanding of scale from the rudimentary materials of the structure, but also how that further translates into the building's space, design and layout. Ultimately harmonizing the structures functionality with the built form to become an experiential piece of art as it participates with the user and urban landscape.

Of the previous positions I have held, I have most recently contributed to IKEA through designing and planning kitchen interiors. As a kitchen ambassador it becomes my duty to drive sales by demonstrating how a layout integrated with IKEA products may transform an existing room into a space of value through enhanced functionality and visual appeal. I have also contributed to the urban planning firm Thompson Design Group in Boston.  Thompson Design Group is a well-known and respected urban planning firm that has allowed me to take a step back from the details of a building by analyzing and understanding the potential ramifications of the building as it relates to its context. In addition to Thompson Design Group, I have also worked in the areas of structural steel fabrication and structural engineering. No matter the scale, the common factor of my previous work opportunities has taught me the concept of experience and its crucial role it plays in the human translation of the built form.
