Working with space, people and material, and finding the successful integration of all three, is one of the most brilliant and powerful works produced by humans. Music is also a huge part of my life; as a composer, producer and listener, I enjoy investigating sound and music in spaces, creating site-specific works, and researching acoustics.

As an apprentice and sole employee of the studio, the work was extremely close and educationally-focused so as to make me more indpendent to make pieces start to finish.
Danish Institute for Study Abroad (DIS), Copenhagen, DK, Pre Architecture
The program is an intense introduction and deepening of design skills, focusing on communication in renderings and presentation, as well as fundamental work with issues of form and function. In 4 months one completes three intensive projects, two solo design works and one group modeling exercise. While in the program we traveled to Western Denmark, Stockholm, and parts of Finland including Helsinki.
Financing for Vermont Studio Center, Scholarship
Awarded a scholarship to attend Vermont Studio Center for a month to do a joint installation project with artist Angela Eastman.
Venture Grant, Grant
I received grant money to travel in Japan for two weeks to study Japanese aesthetics and philosophy, and in particular to visit artworks by the artist/architect/poets Shusaku Arakawa and Madeline Gins.

Brooks Fellowship Award, Scholarship
Scholarship to attend a workshop at Anderson Ranch in Snowmass, Colorado. I took a sculpture workshop titled "4 Materials, 5 Days".

I received first place and was granted funds for my proposal of creating and outdoor stage on The Colorado College's campus.
