I'm an IDP-registered, junior architectural designer living and working in New York City! :) Also very proud to be a 2012 graduate of the University of Pennsylvania's College of Arts and Sciences with a Bachelor of Arts in Architecture, as well as minors in Art History and French Studies. Hoping to pursue a Master's degree in the near future, but for the time being, allowing myself to fall even more in love with design...and this city.

University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia, PA, US, Bachelors, Architecture
As an Undergraduate Architecture major within the College of Arts and Sciences at Penn, I completed three years of studio-based design courses. These courses ranged in subject from building design, to product design, to landscape architecture, with projects that involved elements of photography, digital and physical model construction and the creation of realistic renderings and eye-catching visual displays for our in-gallery reviews. The studio courses were paired alongside a series of Art/Architectural History courses, as well as courses in Architectural Theory, meant to broaden our knowledge and understanding of the profession's place within our society today. The program was taught by professors within the University of Pennsylvania's Graduate School of Design.
Additionally, I received minors in French Studies and Art History.
University of Pennsylvania School of Design at the American Academy in Paris, Paris, France , Study Abroad
A five-week program that took place at the American Academy in Paris, taught by Penn's School of Design, that studied the architectural history of Paris and its surroundings. The course culminated in a photography project as well as a term paper. My focus was on the fabrication of "natural" elements for the city - such as the winding pathways and contrived vistas of the Parc des Buttes-Chaumont - as the most successful means of eradicating undesirable aspects of French history and building on psychological needs of the period.
