The Auxiliar de Conversación (Conversation Assistant) works through the government in granted Bilingual High Schools to improve the low level of English of their secondary school students while serving as an American cultural and conversational ambassador to both students and colleagues.

Created and expanding the English language classes for 7th-12th grade bilingual participants in the English, art, physical education, natural sciences, technology, and mathematics classrooms. Establishing vocabulary, the formation of sentences, thoughts, development of idea, and confidence in English. Creating lesson plans to enhance level: pronunciation, conversation, and grammatical English. Including competitions to effectively practice grammar, games to practice conversation and sentence structure, and presentations to provoke thoughts and questions.

Developed a weekly conversation club in which 11th and 12th grade students could attend and discuss cultural differences, similarities, read articles, and ask questions pertaining to their English class.

Meeting with fellow teachers weekly to lesson plan and improve their English Conversation.

Established an "English only" environment among students and language teachers, but communicated with administration and ancillary staff in Spanish.

Continuously promoted the group by way of social media leading up to the publication of the autumn/winter issue. Using the Twitter and Facebook platforms to inform existing and potential audience and sponsors while continuously broadening content through inspiration boards (wedding trends: destinations, receptions, and fashion). These boards were then sent to assistant editors and graphic designers to be placed before promoting them.
