I am Habib Maddahi. I am recently graduated from Northeastern University and architecture graduate program. I am trained as an architect but I have never stopped experiencing other fields. I am very much interested in the implication of latest technology in design. BIM, Digital fabrication, data visualization, GIS/mapping and Coding are expertise that I could take advantage of and enrich my architectural design projects. For my master thesis research at Northeastern University, I taught myself to write code in Python and connected to Google maps API and created a database for the modular home industry. I am always exploring new software and learning new techniques to improve the design process. I also was a TA of SUEN Research studio three times and worked with Brad Goetz and Scott Bishop and now I am a visualizing tutor for Graduate research studio class and work with Andrea Hanson at Northeastern University helping students with their technical issues. In addition, I conducted a Rhino workshop for SUEN students. Moreover, I am the founder of Architecture-link.com where I collect and introduce resources for architectural representation. The Facebook page of Architecture Link has more than 3000 followers.
I possess excellent computer and technical skills with advanced knowledge of Adobe, AutoCAD, 3ds Max, Rhino, Grasshopper, Tableau, ArcGIS and Revit and I am a quick study on design programs. I am extremely detail oriented and have strong problem-solving skills that enable me to complete every project accurately and to the highest standard possible. I have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and can function well as a team member or as a leader.
