Objective
I want to realize a position in the design fields that will allow me to communicate visually in
various tasks. I know I have a great set of skills and the vision to contribute to the projects that are assigned; and help create a space that is
inspiring and exciting, while also building upon the things learned from colleagues.

During my first week I worked in the resource center with two purposes in mind: to help organize it and to guide myself later on in the use of the materials used in a showroom. I verified that we had all the wood finishes, fabrics and other materials used in projects. During the second week I assisted sales associates preparing the space plan of the store. The store is 16,000 square feet and we decorated it by lifestyle: formal transitional, modern, italian modern and casual contemporary. During my third week I assited the sales staff in their projects. I also helped them in the space planning and the selection of furniture.

During the summer of 2010, I had the opportunity to work at this small
architecture firm. They specialized in high-end residential projects, commercial spaces, and interior design. During my interinship part of my duties were to attend client meetings, visit the project sites. I worked specifically on one project, it was a remodeling of a penthouse apartment in one of the most high-end neighborhoods in San Juan,
Puerto Rico.
