Ilhan Zeybekoglu, a founding Principal of ZNA/ Zeybekoglu Nayman Associates, Inc., has over forty years of U.S and international design experience. His early commissions for Harvard Business School campus, followed by projects in California, New York, and London led to his expanded international activity providing client services from his offices in Cambridge, Massachusetts and London, England.
His work with significant national and international architectural and urban design projects has earned many awards, among them first prizes in several International Design Competitions. Among them, the World Headquarters Complex of the Islamic Development Bank, the American University in Cairo, and the King Khalid University in Abha, SA. Throughout the years, he has served as Principal of Archiplan, Inc. and BDC/Boston Design Collaborative, Inc.
Mr. Zeybekoglu has received his Masters Degree at the Harvard Graduate School of Design, and held senior design faculty positions at Harvard, Columbia and Rice Universities.
Mr. Zeybekoglu has served as Principal-in-Charge and Director of Design for numerous master planning and architecturally significant projects, and his work evidences an abiding concern for and attention to the project’s physical and cultural context. His involvement with each client engages their participation and enhances their sense of ownership in the design solution.
