Laura Terrano is a recent graduate of New Jersey Institute of Technology's Master of Architecture program. She also has a Bachelor of Science in Finance with a minor in French from The Pennsylvania State University.
In 2009, Laura left a promising career in real estate finance to follow her passion and pursue a career in architecture. During her second year in design school, in 2010, Laura was awarded the Joseph Milanaik Memorial Endowed Scholarship for her "superior design skills and excellent character." In 2011, she was published in Arbitare and Design Royal for her work with "Wonder Breakfast", a cross cultural, experiential breakfast performance in Milan. In 2012, Laura was awarded the Henry Adams Fund Academic Achievement Award, an AIA Certificate of Merit. She also participated in the Mercedes Benz Fashion Week NYC where she helped to design and build the "Nevis Wall" for Number Lab's Fashion Show. Laura currently lives in New Jersey and is seeking a full time position with an architecture firm that will allow her to gain valuable hands-on experience.
