•Prepare weekly payroll, including submission of data for direct deposit.
Prepare weekly, quarterly and yearly payroll taxes; W2s and 1099s. Preparation of special reports for management using as-hoc and standard reports.
•Assure the proper processing of all fixed and voluntary deductions as well as liens, garnishments, and Child Support.
•Manage the benefits package and COBRA packages ensuring new and former employees are properly notified.
•Perform banking functions including notifying the bank of voids and stop payments and reviewing notices from the bank regarding the inability to direct deposit to employee accounts.
•Compute wages/salary payments and related withholdings
•Act in response to verification and inquiries for unemployment and other payroll-related data.
