I would like to introduce myself to you as Ash, a current graduate student at the University of Southern California – Los Angeles. I have obtained my Bachelors degree in Architecture from the Mumbai University and also posses work experience as a Project architect for a firm in Mumbai. Currently I am enrolled in the Masters of Building Science program (2010 – 2012 )at USC and seek a job opportunity to pursue my career.
Over the course of two years in my masters program I have developed an interest in energy efficient design strategies for both small scale and large scale projects. I have an interest in researching on new materials that help enhance the performance of a building through building skins.
As a graduate student at the University of Southern California I have included the following as a part of my academic curriculum which I believe have developed my capabilities in sustainable design concepts and façade engineering :
 Lighting design ,
 Building energy modeling ,  Advanced Building Systems Integration -Energy efficient façade design,
 Transparent skins,
 Structural detailing (Façade to Wall details ),
 Structural systems in tall buildings,
 Seismic and wind resistant structural systems.

I have obtained my LEED GA certificate and will work towards attaining my LEED AP at the earliest.

I am sincere and passionate about my career and wish to have an opportunity to develop it further. I learn softwares fast and grasp information quickly.

I have a passion in developing new design systems and my thesis proposes the efficiency of a parabolic brace system that helps reduce drift in buildings under seismic and wind loading.
