Thank you for taking the time to review my resume.  My name is Michael Eskridge and I am writing to express my interest in an opportunity for employment with your company.  I have a wide range of skills that I believe that will be a valuable addition to your office.

I have seen many aspects of the business of design and construction.  In my most recent position within the Design field I was a Construction Manager at Salamone & Associates.  In that position, I was responsible for overseeing the interior renovations of kitchens and bathrooms at several properties owned by The Housing Authority of New Haven.  Prior to that I held a position at Antinozzi Associates where I edited construction drawings and surveyed buildings.

I am passionate about the profession of Architecture and I am constantly trying to continue my education.  I am a graduate of the Sustainable Builder Adviser Program and the Construction Management Program, at Gateway Community College.  I enjoy exploring spaces through 3D modeling.  I primarily use Google SketchUp but I am always interested in learning new programs.  I have experience using Autodesk Revit 2011 and AutoCadd.

Most recently I have been working as a Retail Manager in Milford Connecticut but I want to return to Architecture as I feel that Profession is a better use of my skills and training. My overall goals are to get back to work, continue my growth in the field, and ultimately to become a licensed Architect.
