About 

I am a LEED Green Associate with a Masters of Architecture from Roger Williams University.  My thesis was an adaptive reuse project that pushed the concept of the hybrid building to revitalize a community in Hartford, Connecticut.  I am very interested in Sustainability, Historic Rehabilitation, Adaptive Reuse and Community Regeneration.  I am also interested in healthcare and residential design.  I have participated in several Habitat for Humanity builds and have been a member of AIAS since 2006.  I am the co-owner of a small photography business operating in MA, CT and RI which is one of my favorite hobbies.

This part-time position involves meeting with clients in-store and in-home to establish relationships and determine style and need. Also required is ability to prepare presentations to illustrate design concepts; including floor plans, perspective sketches, collages and material and color selection. Gained broad knowledge of interior design verbage and techniques.

This position involved drawing and editing construction drawings, landscape and material analysis, and preliminary design proposals. Office management and organization was also required, as well as working independently in office while lead architect was on site.

The position was a semester long internship as a member of the 5 person competition design team. The project was seen through from selection of a competition to completion and submission of entry.

The dual degree BArch/MArch covers basic studies in construction, electrical and mechanical systems and construction. There is a strong emphasis on design and the studio process. Flexibility in upper level classes allowed personal emphasis on sustainability, European and Asian arts and architecture, and technical building envelope studies.
