About

Job site experience. Having spent 6 of the last 9 spring breaks working with Habitat for Humanity and other similar groups, connection details and physical constructability of my designs has grown to become very important to me; this is coupled with an on-site, construction internship and summer internships at an architecture firm. Together, I have been able to utilize these experiences into a more holistic understanding of the field.

Highly developed public speaking and presentation skills. When involved in a leadership development program, LEAD Scholar, I, along with two other students, gave a speech to the University’s senior staff members including the President of the University. We proposed the addition of a winter term into the schools calendar, and as a result, were asked to join a committee being formed to consider implementing the issue.

Refined management abilities. Over the past four years, I have been the captain of the Ultimate Frisbee Club on our campus, refining my communication skills and quick analysis of different offenses and defenses in real time. Additionally I’ve organized two, large-scale tournaments, attending to many of the logistical details to run them smoothly.

Excellent interpersonal skills. As a new student orientation leader and as a Philadelphia University tour guide, I have gained the ability to connect quickly with several different types of people. I efficiently and effectively make students and families feel connected with the campus community.
