In addition to my experience doing field surveys, CD sets, product research and drawings of record, I also have extensive knowledge and experience with architectural renderings and subsequently in the require software. I have spent over a decade working as an Architectural Render and through this work, I created marketing and presentation materials along with design renders for in-house use. This experience awarded me an eye for detail and various graphic presentations. As a render, I have learned the importance of prioritizing tasks within a team according to strengths and time constraints as well as organizing project information and coordination. Additionally, I am able to quickly and accurately adapt the knowledge for new software and technologies, such as a Grasshopper and 3D printing, in order to keep up with the constantly evolving technology. My attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills ensure that every project I work on is accurately completed and to the highest standards.
Throughout my graduate experience in the Master of Architecture program, I focused a majority of my electives towards sustainable design, including Passive House design, because I see it as the future of this industry but also a moral imperative to our society. I am also certified in the Autodesk's Building Performance Analysis plug-in for Revit, which offers a designer a better understanding of the building's performance toward energy efficiency.
