As a recent graduate from the University of Michigan’s Taubman School of Architecture, I am confident that my rigorous academic challenges and depth of experience make me a strong candidate. While at Michigan, I was a full-time student, had a part-time job at an experiential marketing company, was Social Chair for the American Institute of Architecture Students (AIAS), sat on the Board of Governors for a student union, and always turned in projects on time.

For the last two years, I have been working at Mobile Exhibit Specialists. At MES, I worked one-on-one with our clients to create marketing strategies that catered to their needs and helped them develop brand exposure and sale promotions. I then worked on the design and construction documents and saw the project through construction. I also designed/maintained the company website, as well as provided marketing research, brochures, and other design necessities and tour management. I also had a Spring Internship at Barton Phelps & Associates in Los Angeles where I created construction documents and renderings for an addition to UCLA’s School of Public Health Building.

As AIAS Social Chair, I took on the opportunity to encourage people to become a part of AIAS and market AIAS among my fellow students and faculty. I designed and maintained the web site (umich.edu/~aias/), planned social events (Beaux Arts Ball, Huron Valley AIA & Alumni events, holiday themed trips), organized a Faculty Meet and Eat Lecture Series, construction tours, fundraisers, member recruitment and assisted in the completion of Freedom by Design projects.

Last summer, I was also the Office Manager at Mavi New York, a company in New York that specializes in commercial bathroom renovation. Here, I provided quotes/bids, and managed data entry of all records. I made sales calls on hotels and other potential commercial clients. I also provided SEO research as to update their website content and maintained their Google AdWords account.

I am proficient with the Adobe Creative Suite, Rhino 4.0, Autocad and many other computer programs.
