About

As a recent M. Arch graduate, my next goal is to become a licensed architect, which means I am looking for an entry level position in architecture at a firm where it is possible to work on my Intern Development hours . My academic studies finished up this May leaving me rather enthusiastic and honestly, more than a little terrified, for the transition from the academic studio into a professional studio. During the last six years of school, I have filled my insatiable curiosity through consuming knowledge of everything from Physics to Photography, studying architecture through languages, cultures, cities, in addition to through form, materiality, and environmental conditions. High school provided my first experience with larger cities, and I fell in love with the city and through living in both Atlanta and Paris, and visiting other cities over the course of the last ten years has developed into an adoration of urban condition. Most likely this love stems from being able to fulfill my many other interests: art, coffee, sports, theater and exploring, people watching, running, and shopping.

At the moment I am interning for the National Trust on a historic plantation in Northern Virginia, working on both the documentation and actual physical restoration of historic features.
