I was educated at Columbia University in New York. Studied architectural design, and art history. The first 18 years of my career were devoted to the archiutecture profession. Starting out as a draftsman and worked my way up to Office Associate in charge of Office Production at Bond Ryder James Architects and Urban Planners. While there I had the opportunity to be the project architect for Towers On The Park, the first steel staggered truss and pre-cast concrete building designed and built in New York City.
However, the last 15 years have been devoted to the construction industry. I am working as a Project Manager and sometimes wearing the hat of the site super. I love being involoved in the consttruction of buildings.
My days are also filled with writing artcles for The Examiner.com as the Newark Architect.
I am also working on publishing a book titled THE APPRENTICING ARCHITECTS DETAIL MANUAL - Developing an attitude and resources for architectural detailing.
