Virginia Tech School of Architecture + Design Interior Design Program, Blacksburg, VA, US, Visiting Instructor

For the past three years I have been a Visiting Instructor with the Interior Design Program in the School of Architecture + Design at Virginia Tech. I have taught the required Building Systems for Interior Designers lecture class covering topics including structural principles and systems, construction materials and methods, environmental building systems, building codes and use of the IBC, life and fire safety, and egress. I have also taught Third and Fourth Year design studios including the Thesis Studio, as well as serving on several graduate student thesis committees and as an invited guest critic for various student project reviews.
