Employment

Archistructure One, Steamboat Springs, CO, US, Principal/Owner

Owner/Principal - Architecture, Engineering, Landscape Architecture, Planning, Interior Design, Construction and General Contracting Firm - Commercial, Retail, Industrial & High End Residential- An entirely REVIT based firm both in office and in field. Archistructure One offers its clients full service, turnkey projects from conception to completion, affording our Clients large economic savings with the highest in quality control.
Most of my projects take on a technical and/or social challenge, pushing the envelope in the context of human dimension, human spacial flow and response, human connotation … and urban complexities and interactions with nature …and with all of them there is a major question/research problem and there has to be a major response/solution. By approaching all of my projects in this manner, I have the distinction of having 100% of my first Design concepts accepted by my Clients, there have never been any redesigns.(This is over my entire career)
I have been in charge of Design and Construction of various multi-million dollar projects in Santa Clara and Coronado, Panama, CA; Vail, Beaver Creek, Aspen, Carbondale, Steamboat Springs, Hayden, Denver, Lakewood, Golden and Elizabeth, Colorado; Santa Cruz, California; Ponce Inlet, Florida; Big Sky, Montana; Bala, Caledon, and Toronto, Ontario, Canada. I am involved extensively on every project in the office and the field; on many projects I have had my tool belt on or have been operating heavy equipment making sure the project was completed to my high standards. I am an all around, hands on everything, Architect.
Areas of expertise include but are not limited to: Revit, Design, Steep Slope Design and Construction, Structural Design, Landscape Design, Steep Slope Equipment Operation, Unique Construction Methods, Getting Projects through Difficult Govt. Agencies and Departments, and getting them through quickly.
August, 1991 to present.
