Hello, my name is Sonia Carias and I would like to be an Intern Architect at your firm.
As an Architectural Designer with a Professional Master of Architecture Degree from the Savannah College of Art and Design, I have achieved eight years of experience with AutoCAD, five years of experience with REVIT, eight years of experience with Adobe Creative Suite and two years of experience working in an office setting within the construction profession. I have used Photoshop, Illustrator, In-Design, ArchGIS and Microsoft Office as well as other Data and Web Design computer programs extensively throughout my career and education. I also have drafting, drawing and rendering experience using pencils, ink mediums and markers. I would like to utilize these skills as a contributing member of your design staff.
My background consists mainly of the design and documentation for institutional facilities as well as recreational, commercial and entertainment facilities. I have been in design teams for projects such as wildlife centers, community clinics, restaurants and night clubs. In the past I have assisted licensed architects and contractors to complete the different phases of projects. I designed a low-cost community healthcare clinic in Savannah, GA and later collaborated with a licensed architect to help with the completion of the construction documentation phase.
