My full name is Conrad Jacob Szajna (Shy-na) and I am an architectural designer and avid traveler based in Chicago. My career in Architecture began at the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC) where I received my Bachelor of Science in Architecture in 2008. During the final year of my undergraduate career, I had the privilege of working at Norcon Inc., a construction management company, as an Assistant Project Manager working on custom high-end residential homes. After graduation, I spent the next two years at Schroeder Murchie Niemiec Gazda-Auskalnis (SMNG-A) Architects working primarily on CPS/PBC elementary schools as a Junior Architect. I am currently registered with NCARB (the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards) working toward my licensure as a professional architect and have 92 hours remaining to complete my Intern Development Program (IDP) requirement. I recently finished up my last semester at the Illinois Institute of Technology (IIT) where I received my Master Degree in Architecture in May of this year.
