My name is Kevan Connery and I am a graduate from the Architecture Program at Virginia Tech. Currently I’m seeking an internship position that will prepare me to successfully pass the Architectural Registration Exam. I have many skills in the design and construction business that I believe will contribute to your growing firm, particularly in 3D computer modeling and rendering.
While studying for my Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture at Virginia Tech, I became very interested in 3D modeling and rendering and its value in developing project ideas with clients. In the process of teaching myself how to produce intriguing renderings, I’ve become familiar with many programs such as Rhino and Revit. Through years of trial and error, however, I’ve found 3DS Max powered by VRAY to be the most efficient platform to produce professional quality renderings. I also have strong skills in physical model construction and drafting in AutoCAD.

•Constructed 3D computer models of various project types using both
AutoCAD Architecture and 3ds Max
•Rendered 3D Models using Mental Ray
•Rendered scene elements separately and composited them in Autodesk
Combustion to reduce overall render time and increase control over
individual scene elements in post-production
•Used camera matching to combine illustrations of 3d models with
actual photographs
•Tracked camera movement of video footage using SynthEyes to
composite 3D animations with video footage
•Added digital effects and audio to animations using Adobe
