Construction Container Facelift Competition, Honorable Mention
International Ideas Competition centered on shipping containers. Team: Ali Mahjouri, Carolina Giraldo, Anastasia Limogiannis.
We reimagined the construction protective sidewalk shed as an active space of urban relief utilizing shipping containers to create lunch areas for construction workers and the public, public restrooms, pop up event and retail spaces, and areas of relaxation. Through a series of operations and manipulations, we put forth a solution to an urban problem with innovative means.
