About

Hello, I recently relocated to the San Diego area after living and working in Sydney, Australia, since 2008.  I have been working in architecture and urban design for 7 years, with a background in residential (both single family homes and hi-rise buildings), commercial, and mixed use developments. I’m interested in the integrated environment in which architecture is placed, both related to the physical building and office setting. This includes addressing elements of social, economic, and environmental sustainability in a positive manner to ensure long term success.

My skills in architecture and urban design include:

  • Pre-concept design and feasibility analysis (experience includes master planned projects, hi-rise buildings, and luxury homes)
  • Master planning
  • Urban design analysis
  • Planning documents (experience includes both written and graphic work)
  • Drafting
  • 3D modeling
  • Graphic design
  • Construction documentation
  • Documentation coordination according to applicable building codes
  • Shadow analysis
  • Coordination with clients, consultants, approval authorities

Regarding software, I have advanced knowledge of Adobe Photoshop/Illustrator/InDesign, AutoCAD, Rhino 3D, SketchUp; intermediate knowledge of Maxwell Render for Rhino 3D, Ecotect; and basic knowledge of Revit, ArchiCAD, and Grasshopper.

I’m currently studying to become LEED AP, and look forward to becoming a licensed architect. I enjoy travelling, reading, swimming, running, cycling, and attempt to surf now and again.
