I am knowledgeable about both architecture design and urban design. I got my master degree of architecture in urban design at New York Institute of Technology in May 2011, and I got my bachelor degree of architecture in China in 2005.I believe my education experience has provided me with an excellent background in the practical aspects of architecture design.
I have almost 5 years working experience in architecture design in both US and China. I’ve worked on projects in different areas, such as residential design, commercial/public building design, interior design, community planning, etc. I’ve also worked on projects in different scales, from single house to high-rise buildings. Though working on more than 30 architecture design projects from conceptual design to product construction drawings, I gained strong knowledge of and experience with space utilization for conceptual design, and became detail oriented.
I am proficiently in AutoCAD, Sketchup, Photoshop, Illustrator, excel and word. I speak in English and Chinese fluently.
I enjoy both cooperating as a team member on collaborative efforts, and also thinking independently when needed to focus on solving problems. Sharing, reporting, and delivering technically detailed findings in regards to my projects through talks, presentations has given me good communication and writing skills.
