Jose Hernando currently works as Revit Modeller in the Arup Madrid Structure Department. His qualification as an architect led him to focus his skills to the possibilities that Autodesk Revit software provides to the construction industry.
His work before joining Arup include, historic buildings documentation, measurements and preparation of promotional materials for local exhibitions. These works have provided expertise in the use of programs like AutoCAD, 3DS MAX and Photoshop.
José Hernando has developed exciting projects using BIM Technologies such as "7th of April University Campus"(Zuwarah, Libia) "King Abdullacid International Airport" (Jeddah, Saudi Arabia) or "Health and Wellness Facilities" (Doha, Qatar). He also worked in Milan and Doha Offices developing other landscaping and construction projets.

Responsible for generating and monitoring of part of the project buildings. Generation of the structural documentation, necessary for the constructive definition of the executive project.

Development of the graphic information for the executive project of part of the faculty buildings. Generation of the Revit general model and the structural documentation, focusing on the concrete structure and the reinforcement detail definition.

Jose Hernando got an University Grant at the Polytechnic University of Madrid between 2006 and 2009 at the Architectural Graphic Department. During this period he developed the graphic information for several projects and exhibitions for the City Council of Madrid.

Historical plans and sections of the Architectural complex known as “Colegio Imperial” which involves the Ancient Cathedral of Madrid and the San Isidro High School at the Toledo Street.
EXHIBITION “FROM MONCLOA TO PUERTA DE HIERRO”
Development of the plan drawings and renders of the historical “Ciudad Universitaria” of Madrid. The exhibition started at the “Museo de América” in October 2007 and closed in February 2008
THE SHAPE OF THE PASEO DEL PRADO .
Graphic development in several historical phases of the urban environment of the Paseo del Prado. The work begins since its inception in the XVII Century to the Current projects of Alvaro Siza and Rafael Moneo.
EXHIBITION “WAR AND BATTLEFIELD”
Development of the plan drawings and renders about the Madrid City of the Independence War Period (1808 May 2th). The exhibition started at the “Museo de Historia” in April and closed in October 2008.
“LA CASA DE LA VILLA”
Historical plans and sections of the ancient city hall of Madrid. Generation of the constructive phases and all the plan and section information.
EXHIBITION “ISIDRO VELÁZQUEZ”
Development of the plan drawings and part of the renders for the Exhibition about the Architect of the Spanish King Fernando VII. The exhibition started at the “Centro Cultural Conde Duque” in May and closed in October 2009.
