As Director of Construction, Real Estate, and Development for the past 11 years, I have had the wonderful opportunity to develop skills and knowledge in a wide range of business-related construction and development issues.  I developed and lead a team of professionals in real estate, construction, facilities, architecture and store opening FF&E for over 100 new store openings. I supervised site selection and demographic research, coordinated with the internal and external design teams, planned, implemented and delivered construction schedules, hired and managed relationships with core contractors and preferred vendors, formulated and managed the entire budgeting process from pre-construction to store grand opening. I coordinated and monitored permitting and the approval process to ensure city, county and state compliance. I ensured the quality of construction through value engineering, construction drawing certification, and identified and executed strategies for lowering new store, remodel & store opening expenditures. Collaborated with the field operations team for new store openings and remodel process to create and execute process improvements for area of responsibility. I also developed a facilities management department.
