I have a passion for the way architecture has allowed me to “see” and investigate the world. Magnificent in that architecture uses not the lens of a single discipline or one instrument, but all disciplines and all tools. It is this very fact that compelled me to radically alter the professional path I was on and apply to Graduate School. Engendering a deep love for the gifts of my education, I only wish to continue learning with the anticipation that one day I may be a leader in shaping the built and physical world.

In 2011 I completed the 3-year Masters of Architecture program at The Spitzer School of Architecture. Along with design studio and course work I was awarded the opportunity to serve as a teaching assistant working in both studio and lecture course environments. During the 3-year program each semester break was utilized to participate in various extracurricular projects ranging from research work, studio workshops, to assisting in competition work for professional offices. Insisting through out the program to take full advantage of all resources and to gain experience in any and every aspects of architecture that I could.

Most recently I was selected for a paid internship with Alexander Gorlin Architects LLC, where I was quickly assigned increasing responsibility while being able to learn from some of the best designers in New York. The opportunity exposed me to virtually every facet of how a fast paced deadline driven office operates, while allowing me to participate in virtually all aspects of design, administration, management, and project delivery. I was able to work with all senior staff on a myriad of projects each at varying phases of design ranging from institutional to high-end residential as well as competition work initiated by the firm. This opportunity has prepared me to be able to work effectively at any stage of a project, from Design Development, Schematic Design, to final Construction Documentation with competence and an understanding of process and execution.

Prior to Graduate school I worked in a number of professional roles in the executive recruitment industry holding operations, sales, and management positions.  Each role has been a learning experience, with increasing responsibility and greater challenges both in the team environment and working independently to achieve company goals. All of which have a cultivated a professional that is competent, eager, and able to take on new challenges.
