Presently managing multiple projects in various stages of design development and construction administration
Project Development
■ Works within project parameters to generate accurate zoning analysis for client assessment, massing envelope and
NB filing submission
■ Collaborates with design teams to deliver effective presentations from concept through construction to achieve
client goals
■ Manages teams through coordination of each respective design and engineering trade from the concept design
phase through construction documentation
■ Effectively interprets building and energy and accessibility codes to deliver compliant designs
■ Fully develops and details exterior and interior design concepts to be constructible, code compliant and accurately
priced
Project Administration
■ Creates and structures effective proposals that clearly aligns project scope, deliverables, fee, and schedule to meet
firm and client needs
■ Leads and coordinates design architects, design consultants and engineering teams throughout life of the project
■ Develops staffing requirements and billable hours by clearly defining scope of work and project timeline goals
■ Schedules accurate timelines for all phases, application filing, inspections and construction phases
■ Reviews and directs timely shop drawing submittal and RFI process, change-orders, scope changes
■ Attends weekly construction meetings with on site management to evaluate project progress, field issues and guide
construction managers as required to execute design
Client Management
■ Keeps client abreast of all aspects of deliverables, timelines, and project events through effective communication
■ Acts as an intermediary between client’s marketing, branding and management teams by clearly communicating any
design and code implications that may affect scope and overall design
■ Assists in creation of pricing and contract documents for financing applications, bid set documents and tax approvals
■ Guides the client and owner representative through value engineering process at all project phases
■ Works with ownership and legal team to develop HPD/421-A compliant design and documentation to achieve
approvals
