Urban Design and City Planning is of particular interest to me; shaping our cities’ design and functional aspects is a passion of mine.
Through my Bachelors of Architecture at Carnegie Mellon University, I acquired not only a solid foundation in core architecture, design and studios, but my training has had a unique focus on sustainability with relation to small and large scale design. I have been fortunate enough to have the opportunity to use these skills during summer internships working on the new Apple Campus project in Palo Alto, California and projects abroad in Dubai, UAE and Barcelona, Spain.
Through these experiences, I have developed my proficiency in technical design detailing while innovating to meet the larger project objectives. It is these experiences that have led me to recognize the three R’s of Urban Design— Restoration, Regeneration and Re-optimization—the new requirements for the cities of the future (see Blog).
Designing is my craft. Innovation is my passion.
