AIA/LA 1:2 Design+Build Student Competition, 1st Place

AIA-LA DESIGN+BUILD STUDENT COMPETITION (SPRING 2010)

The 1:2 Student Charrette Scholarship Competition brings together teams of students from 12 area schools for a one-day interior architecture design charrette. The design program for the 18th Annual 1:2 Student Competition is based on a real non-profit client with a real project.

This (1) one day industry-juried charette is a unique educational opportunity for students from Southern California Architecture, Interior Architecture, Interior design and Environmental Design undergraduate programs, as they compete for scholarships raised by the LAIAC (American Institute of Architects Los Angeles Interior Architecture Committee). This year’s competition awarded $23,000 to multiple winners.

The competition was held at the offices of HOK in Culver City.

Third Place: $4,000
