E3 DESIGN LABORATORY PROJECTS, Santa Fe, NM, US, PRINCIPAL

Artist House: Taos – New Mexico (2011-2012)
Turned an ordinary pueblo style house into a home, by providing the client with a contemporized renovation and small addition. Introducing elements such as the entry bucket, a cube to house art, studio, concrete deck and an engawa.
Green House Addition: Santa Fe – New Mexico (2010-2011)
This addition to a historic contributing adobe house created many challenges. Played within the narrow allowable regulations to make the design functional and wonderful.
Tisnado Subdivision: Santa Fe – New Mexico (2009-2010)
Facilitated a subdivision in Santa Fe historic district, converting an existing detached (three-unit) condominium to a legal subdivision. Assembled documentation and administered upgrading infrastructure and terrain management requirements.
Second Street Multi-Family housing: Santa Fe – New Mexico (2009-2010)
Designed the units to be private, flexible and contemporary. Stretch the building lot to fit the program. Natural light and maximize allowable height achieved a feeling of a larger space. Playful roofline, yard walls, colored metal panels and existing yard walls define personal and public space.
Diamond Mountain University: Student Union Building - Bowie Arizona (2007-2008)
Developed a Buddhist facility which program consists of a church kitchen, dining area, restrooms, in one wing and a study in the second wing. Design integrates a two Nubian Vault roof structure and a centered passive solar corridor that utilizes rammed earth walls for thermal mass. The splayed geometry of the buildings and centered entry corridor creates two courtyards for seasonal use. Nubian Vault design in collaboration with Adobe Alliance.
Christopher Purvis & Jay Bush Design: - Collaboration Christ Church - Santa Fe, NM (2006-2007)
Extensive renovation of an existing church in Santa Fe (Christ Church). Consulted with design, assembled as built drawings, specified materials, created details sheets and consulted with vendors, interior designer and church committee. Simultaneously collaborating on various small single-family projects and one large private residence.
Second Street Brewery: Santa Fe, New Mexico (2006)
Pragmatic (financial constraints) interior and new egress renovation of existing metal shed brewery. Removed second floor for the new curved bar and expanded indoor and outdoor seating. Designed an over sized lighting structures canopy above the bar, and built-in nooks services platforms.
Dolores Street Condominium: Downtown Santa Fe, New Mexico (2005-2006)
Delivered a crafted contemporized renovation and addition to existing adobe residence in a small historic city lot. Converged city requirements with clients needs, maximizing the urban lot by adding a second attached unit.
La Vida Feliz Condominium: Taos, New Mexico (2004-2005)
Master planned and designed 45 condominium units. Used alternative and traditional materials. Incorporated Native American idioms and courtyard scheme to create a traditional village environment. Each unit converse intimately and openly to catch the captivate vitality of the mountains, open landscape and public inter courtyard.
Pares + Van Amburg Architects: - Collaboration - Vista Clara Ranch and Spa. Santa Fe, NM (2004)
Designed a LEED rated health spa. Incorporated Native American idioms in a contemporize fashion, used local materials, passive solar and a green roof systems. Worked with Clodagh.

Zimmer Hundley Regenesis, Santa Fe, New Mexico , Intern

Project include: Lodge at Vail. Collaborated with Architects and Interior design team on a luxury environmental hotel and restaurant in Vail, Colorado. Developed traditional and contemporary details interior elevations and specialty plans.

Project managed the following projects: Design and tailored details of four private residences in Santa Fe, New Mexico and Los Angeles, California. Design team on an urban recreational facility, (Club Med Montreal, Canada), a Mark Miller restaurant in Las Vegas, Nevada. Coordinated with clients, contractors and consultants. At times worked with an interdisciplinary group of artist and craftsman’s. Provided construction administration services and managed employees on several residential projects.

Projects include: Generated as built of a historic structure in Santa Fe, produced bid set (three custom private residences). Design team on Marty Sanchez Golf Club House helped resolved budget issues.

Projects include: Design competition Native American Preparatory School. Aided in the design of Poeh Center and Cites of Gold Casino. Worked with Casino consultants to detail back of house complexities. Provide construction document of a mix used development, and three private solar residents. Demonstrated CADD skills and delivered working drawings.
