My name is Francesco Sorbo, I am a creative, hardworking and practical individual from Naples, south Italy and I have a five year Degree in Architecture obtained in 2006.
In the same here I’ve got my license as an Architect and I’m currently a member of the Orders of Architects, Planners and Landscapist of Naples Italy since September 2007.
In January 2007 I was selected for a Master Program in Urban management and Architectural design in Milan, validated by the University of Wales UK, for the duration of one year.
This experience completely changed my personality, and for my first time I had the chance to be in a very small class with thirteen students coming from all over the world.
In addition, working with my classmates has exposed me to a diverse array of cultures, learning to work long hours in teams, working as a group, meeting dead lines, and practicing presentation skills.
I see the early years of my career, as a student first, as being a fairly mobile period as I intend to travel and work in order to broaden my knowledge and experiences within Architecture, Landscape and also in life, infact, traveling all over the world has succeeded in opening up my mind, therefore allowing me to appreciate traditional Architecture and the spectacles created by foreign predecessors.
I feel my time between University, Master, Summer Courses and Working, has provide me with a very solid base from which I am now able to expand and develop my skill base. The combination of individual and Group Work and the range of modules undertaken have meant that I now feel that I am well equipped to successfully make the most out of my career.
Currently i work as a freelance Architect/Interior Design on a broad range of practices, both in the public and private sectors and i share a common mission of providing responsive design, technological expertise and exceptional service in order to provide my clients with the best possible facilities that will serve them well into the future.
My work includes projects for commercial, office, residential, institutional and non-profit clients with experience on a variety of large and small, new and existing building projects.
