Client satisfaction is the most important goal for the team at Ervin Architecture, and we accomplish this by producing affordable, sustainable, and innovative projects tailored to meet the unique needs of each client. We aren't satisfied until the client is satisfied. Clients are routinely pleased to learn that our solution has reduced their energy costs, exceeded their aesthetic goals, and made their experience in the building more enjoyable.

Founded in 2012 to serve the Bangor, Maine region, Ervin Architecture has recently expanded to include work outside the State of Maine. Ervin Architecture sees each project, and locale, as an exciting challenge, whether in Maine, New England, the Northeast, Southwest, Rocky Mountain Region, and beyond. Ervin Architecture routinely donates to local charities, and is involved in the AIA Mentorship Program for educating young aspiring architects.

Robert W. Ervin is a licensed Maine architect, and the founder of Ervin Architecture, LLC. He grew up in Bangor and Holden, and he returned to the area in 2010. He has been involved in the field of architecture for over 13 years, and is well-respected throughout the New England architecture community. He worked in Boston, New York and Denver, and draws on cultural influences in India, Egypt, Italy, and Greece from his travels, as well as from Japanese and Chinese design methodologies. He has worked on projects throughout the continental U.S.A., as well as projects in the Middle East and Europe. He has experience designing buildings in residential, institutional, restaurant, business office, and municipal spheres, and currently is becoming an expert in medical office design and construction. His expertise in design, and building technology, continue to create projects that are better designed, with lower costs, giving his clients a better overall value in their investment.    Ervin Architecture has a commitment to the entire state of Maine.

Maine is a diverse state with many unique and exciting communties.  No project is too far away.  Whether your project is in the Bangor Metro Region (Bangor, Brewer, Hampden, Glenburn, Clifton, or Eddington), the University of Maine area (Orono, Veazie, & Old Town), further north into Piscataquis or Aroostook Counties (Medway, Presque Isle, Houlton, Fort Kent, & Caribou), east into Washington County (Calais, Machias, & Jonesport), south into Central Maine (Waterville, Augusta, & Gardiner), even further south into the Portland area (Portland, Lewiston and Auburn areas), or perhaps coastal Maine areas (Bar Harbor, Castine, Camden, Rockland, and Ellsworth), Ervin Architecture will travel wherever your exciting new project is planned.  We absolutely love what we do, and we always bring that enthusiasm with us on the road.

Robert enjoys hiking in Acadia National Park, and fly-fishing at his camp outside of Baxter State Park.
