About

Hello,

 My name is iuliia Fomina.

I am an architect based in Miami, Florida. I chose architecture as my career because there are many back alleys to explore, and this way I never get tired of it. Currently, I work as a Design Architect at Urban Robot Associates, taking care of tiny things like millwork, and enormous things like developers' ego and density.

I am also a recent 4Geeks Data Science Bootcamp graduate focusing on Machine Learning and Prediction Models. I believe I am great with jumping across the scales (EDA to concept brainstorming), which makes me a decent data & ML scientist. Ultimately, I wish that all this work would contribute to my goal of getting admitted into the MIT Media LAB.

Creativity, professionalism, loyalty and dedication are assets which I have developed through my professional and academic experience. From my alma mater, Florida Atlantic University, and at Urban Robot, I have been recognized as a leader in the group projects. I promise you will have fun working with me.

I am a team player skilled in Python, Rhino, Grasshopper, ArchiCad, Adobe Suite, Autodesk REVIT and AutoCad, among other programs I worked on. Just give me a month, I will learn any software even if it is a 3D modeling on a toaster.

In my free time, I compete in Weightlifting, CrossFit and squeeze in some trading sessions assisted by my team's research tool called TradingBuddy. I also enjoy caring for my extensive collection of rare plants on my balcony.
